How to read your Echo dashboard

The quadrant, the bands, the dimension bars, the leak, and your next move, plus what "directional" means when you see it.

The dashboard lands with a lot of numbers. Here's how to read them in order, so the story comes through.

Start with the quadrant

Four rings, one per lens: Fidelity, Content Quality, Reach, and Return. Each carries a score from 0 to 100 and a band name. Don't average them in your head; they answer four different questions, and the gaps between them are usually the insight. A brand with high Fidelity and low Reach has a consistent message nobody hears. High Reach with low Fidelity means the market is talking about you, but not saying what you'd want.

The bands

Every score falls into one of four bands, named for how far your message carries:

| Band | Range | What it means | |---|---|---| | Silent | 0 to 25 | The echo dies at the wall. You're publishing into a void. | | Faint | 26 to 50 | It carries a little, but comes back distorted. Mixed messages. | | Resonant | 51 to 75 | It's returning, on-message. The system is working. | | Amplified | 76 to 100 | The market carries your message for you. |

Most real brands land in Faint or Resonant on their first scan. That's not failure; that's a baseline.

The dimension bars

Each lens breaks into six scored dimensions, and each dimension carries a short note that quotes or cites the evidence behind it. This is where the score becomes actionable: a Fidelity of 62 tells you little, but "Vocabulary 48: your blog uses jargon your homepage never touches" tells you exactly what to fix. The lens articles explain every dimension: Fidelity, Content Quality, Reach, Return.

The biggest echo leak

The single costliest place your message breaks down, quoted from a real page on your site. If you only act on one thing, act on this. It feeds your next move, the one content action most likely to raise your score.

Turning the read into action

Two affordances sit right on the result. Build your brand identity takes what the scan detected about your message, voice, and audience and drafts your brand identity from it, in one click. And on Brand Echo Pro, Draft it for me turns the leak into on-brand copy you edit and own, then you re-scan to prove it moved.

When you see "directional"

Some reads carry a low-confidence flag or a needs-human-review note. That's deliberate. When the evidence is thin, we say so instead of dressing a guess up as a verdict. A directional read is a signal to look into, not a judgment to act on blindly. Why we work this way.

On Return, check the source

The Return ring says either it was scored from public signals (the free proxy) or from your real connected numbers, marked with a Real data pill. The difference, explained.
