The Full-Site scan

Scale's deep scan reads far more of your site in one pass, not just the top pages. Here's when to use it.

Updated 2026-09-14

A standard scan reads up to 10 prioritized pages: the ones that carry most of your message. That's the right depth for most brands, and it's what every Free and Pro scan does. The Full-Site scan reads far more of your site in one pass, and it's part of the Scale plan.

What it does

Instead of sampling your top pages, the Full-Site scan maps and reads deep into your site, up to around 150 pages, then scores the whole set. It catches the message drift a 10-page sample can miss: the blog post that wandered off-voice, the product page that quietly contradicts your homepage, the section nobody has read since it launched.

Because it reads so much more, it runs as a background job. Kick it off, close the tab if you want, and we email you when it's ready. You get up to 4 Full-Site scans a month on Scale.

When you need it

Reach for it when your message lives across a lot of surface area:

  • A big content library. Dozens of posts, where consistency is the whole battle.
  • Multiple product or service lines, each with its own pages and its own risk of drifting.
  • A site several people write, where the seams between authors are where the leaks hide.

If you're a tight site of a handful of pages, the standard scan already reads what matters; you don't need this.

The trade-off

Reading more pages takes longer and costs more to run, so the Full-Site scan is a Scale feature, capped at 4 runs a month. A standard scan finishes in a minute or two; a Full-Site scan runs in the background and emails you when it's done. Scale also includes about 200 standard scans a month to give a large site room to iterate between Full-Site runs.

How to run it

On the Scale plan, the scan box shows a Full-Site scan toggle. Flip it on and start the scan. It runs in the background with a live progress bar, and we email you when it's ready. Your result names how many pages it read, plus a "where your message drifts most" list, and the dashboard works exactly the same, just grounded in far more of your site.

Pair it with Benchmarks to read your whole site against your whole category. Run a scan to start.
